Desktop Music Stand This desktop stand folds flat for easy transport and can be handy when traveling. Sets up on any level flat surface. A backrest lets you adjust the angle and two front supports keep pages from closing. 7 inches wide, 6 inches tall, 2-inch base. One style says "BOOK" (pictured) and the other looks like an open book. Colors include red, blue, green and availability may vary with style. $7.50

Heli cello stand The Heli stand accommodates fractional and full-size cellos with surprising stability. Its light-weight frame folds flat for easy storage and transport. All surfaces making contact with the cello are covered with a soft gripping material which eliminates slippage and does not affect the finish of the instrument. Whether you are interested in displaying your cello or keeping it handy (and safe) during practice, this stand is ideal. Available in black, red, blue or green. Ingles Stand for Cello & Bow Ingles offers a gig stand that allows you to keep your bow and cello, with its endpin extended, ready to play. Folding nearly flat for storage, it features two height-adjustable cushioned arms to support the cello's bottom and a third with a safety bar to secure the neck. Bow hangs from cushioned hook out of harms way, behind the instrument and off the floor. Will accomodate cellos from 4/4 down to 1/8. The open stand is 21" across and uses 24" front-to-back if placed to access the bow hook. By folding the bow hook up and placing right against the wall, the stand takes 20.5" front to back. $60.00

Loft Cello Cradle The Loft cello cradle is a unique item in that it's made of a rubberized material that resists scratches and yet looks suitable in your studio or music room. Shown in charcoal with dense black foam which cradles the cello and two bows. While we feel comfortable putting carbon fiber bows here, you'd have to decide how safe it is for wood bows in your home or studio. Weighs 14 pounds, accommodates cellos with lower bouts to 17.5 inches to a depth of 7.5. inches. Endpin well is 2-3/4 inches deep. Wells for bows are 10 inches deep. On carpeted or bare floor this cradle slides easily with cello inside where conventional wood cradles won't. Ideal if you tour/perform and need a durable stand or in a school setting. $195.00

Highlighter Tape for Music Removable Highlighter Tape comes in a package of 3 colors: pink, yellow and green with its own dispenser. These tiny rolls of transparent colored tape can be placed on music to highlight repeat signs or anything you need to stand out. It can be written on, so if you have borrowed music and need to write in fingerings they can be done on the tape and then peeled off when you turn in the music. We have used this product ourselves and it works well. Tape is 12mm wide, dispenser is about 1.5" by 1" with cutting edge, $7.95

Hercules Quik N EZ Folding Stand Hercules folding wire stand opens easily, features lateral page extenders, a nice lip with page holders. The tripod base features a mechanism that, once set, allows the height to be adjusted just by raising or lowering, no dials or clips to lock it into place. If you tuck your bow underneath the page holders, it's virtually impossible for it to be knocked off the stand -- a bonus for school orchestra players whose equipment is at risk. $35.00

Hercules Quik N EZ Travel Orchestral Stand Hercules portable orchestral stand has a large solid-back desk with a center hinge for folding. The base has swivel legs, a clutch for one-handed height adjustment/lock, and a handy tilt feature. Very stable at 7 pounds, travels in its own carry bag. $93.00

Solid Teak Music Stand This solid teak music stand is beautifully crafted and surprisingly portable. The desk and three legs separate from the center poles and store in compartments in a special travel case. The telescoping pole adjusts from 29" off the floor to 49" and the angle of the desk is easily changed by inserting the pole into one of three holes in the back. Dimensions of the desk as shown are 18" wide, 12" high, with a lip of 1.5". One stand serves as an exquisite addition to the music studio, and also travels well for performance.
