Handeze Gloves Handeze Therapeutic Gloves can provide warmth, support, massage and comfort on one or both hands while playing the cello. There is no fabric interfering with the fingers on the string when playing in thumb position. Gloves are sold as a set and are interchangeable right/left. If you've had RSI, carpal tunnel, or just have cold hands, you'll appreciate Handeze. In the fingerless model the middle and ring finger share one large opening. 3/4 finger gloves Handeze therapeutic gloves offer warmth and support to wrists and hands. 3/4 fingers keep tips exposed for playing. Some cellists like the warmth on outdoor gigs; others use these to absorb sweat when performing. Handeze Thermal Pack Glove Handeze Plus gloves feature an internal pocket in the wrist compartment for its own hot/cold pack. For heat therapy, the packet is placed in a microwave for 5-10 seconds before sliding it into the glove. For cold therapy, place the packet in the freezer for 15 minutes before sliding it into the glove. The cold pack remains flexible when frozen. 1 glove per package, fits either hand. Stringvision Bow Grip V.2 Stringvision's Bow Grip V2 helps the hand get more comfortable on the bow and protects the stick and frog from wear. This is a revised model, made of a stronger, more pliable tear-resistant material. The bow grip's thumb indent aids thumb placement and may help some students develop a better bow grip. We show a clear model on a 4/4 Coda Diamond NX cello bow but the grip is only available currently in black. Thumb indentation falls right where the thumb would be placed on the bare bow/frog. Wedge Cushion Wedge cushions can help compensate for a backward-sloping chair or boost hips to gain a more comfortable posture when playing. The Tush Cush also features a coccyx cutout which many orthopedists recommend to relieve pressure on the tailbone. Adjustrite kids' cello stool Adjustrite Cello Stool is a good investment for young, growing cellists. Teachers may want to consider adding one to their studios as well. Telescoping legs adjust independently in 1" increments from 12" to 14". By removing the telescoping inserts entirely, you can get this stool down to 10.75". Adjustrite Cello Chair The Adjustrite chair is a new item here and we love it! The legs can be adjusted independently in height from 15 to 20 inches. Back legs can be set higher for those wanting the "wedge" seat. The folding design of the chair makes it much more compact for transport than we expected, with a convenient handle.
