Korg Chromatic Tuner

Korg's Chromatic CA-1 tuner takes the place of the CA-30. It has one mode to drone a pitch, and another mode to identify the pitch being played. You can calibrate frequencies from 410-480 Hz. Runs 100 hours on 2 AAA batteries. Input jack for pickup or headphones.

Sabine Zoid Clip-On Tuner

The Zoid is a small tuner that can either be clipped on a peg or bridge or used with a built-in mic. You can pivot the head for easy viewing of the screen. The screen will light in orange when the pitch is inaccurate, and the needle on the meter will indicate whether it is flat or sharp. The screen lights in green when you're at pitch. Granted there are fluctuations in intonation with bow pressure and speed. Orchestral players who can't hear themselves will benefit from the Zoid, as will new students who have not developed a strong sense of pitch and have tuning issues. You can't practice a cello effectively if your instrument is not in tune. There is a calibration button so you can choose from an A433 to A447.

Sabine 9000 metronome - tuner combination

Sabine 9000 is a compact metronome and tuner combination. The tuner will generate pitches for you in a 4-octave range (A2 to C6), also indicate if pitches you play are flat, sharp or right-on. Calibrates the A pitch from 430 to 449 Hz. The metronome features a woodblock beat with volume control and optional distinct downbeat. It has many rhythmic settings and subdivisions. We like it for its compact size, easy-to-use features. There is a built-in mic and instrument input, earphone output.
